Shipping policy

At MaFrance, we supply retailers with carefully selected French beauty, fragrance, and personal care products through a B2B direct import model. As our wholesale orders are sourced directly from France, our shipping and return policy is designed to give retail partners clear expectations around lead times, customs, delivery, and claims.

Order Processing & Lead Time

MaFrance works on a direct import ordering model. This means each order is processed and sourced from France after your wholesale order is confirmed.

Our standard delivery timeline is 3 to 5 weeks from confirmed payment to delivery at your store location.

This timeline includes brand preparation, export packaging, international air freight, Canadian customs clearance, and local delivery.

We consolidate and submit orders to our French brand partners on a regular weekly schedule. Delivery timelines may be extended during French public holidays, peak retail seasons such as November and December, extreme weather, customs delays, or airline delays.

To avoid stock interruptions, we recommend planning your wholesale purchases 3 to 4 weeks in advance.

Customs, Duties & Compliance

MaFrance acts as the importer of record for your order. This means we handle the cross-border import process on your behalf.

Our wholesale product pricing includes:

● International air freight
● Canadian import duties
● Customs clearance
● Health Canada cosmetic compliance-related handling

You do not need to manage customs paperwork or pay separate cross-border import invoices.
Canadian HST/GST will be charged at checkout where applicable.

Local Delivery

Once your order arrives in Toronto and clears customs, it will be handed over for local delivery. Delivery is usually completed within 1 to 2 business days after local release.

Orders may be delivered by UPS, FedEx, or a local delivery partner depending on the order size and destination.

Minimum Order Value & Shipping Fees

  • The minimum order value for wholesale purchases is CAD $500 per order.
  • Orders of CAD $1,000 or more qualify for free local delivery within the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Orders below CAD $1,000 may be subject to a flat local delivery fee of CAD $25.

Special Product Handling

La Savonnerie Royale

Liquid and solid soap products are packed with care for international transport. During extreme winter weather, liquid products may require additional temperature-sensitive packaging to reduce the risk of freezing during transit.

Hello Kitty Parfums

Hello Kitty Parfums are supplied in 5 ml bottles. Although fragrance products can fall under special air transport handling requirements, the small 5ml format may qualify for exception-based handling.
For larger fragrance orders, additional packing, carton separation, documentation review, or carrier handling fees may apply. If any additional transport-related cost is required, MaFrance will notify you in advance and proceed only after confirmation.
